Tallmadge Tire is seeking a skilled Commercial Tire Service Technician to join our fleet division. This role focuses on keeping commercial vehicles safe, reliable, and ready for the road through professional tire service and repair.

Position Overview

In this role, you will perform tire service and repairs for a variety of commercial fleets, including schools, highway departments, farms, trucking companies, and other local customers. Your work will include mounting, dismounting, repairing, and inspecting commercial tires, along with occasional mobile service calls to support customers on-site. This position plays an important role in minimizing downtime and keeping essential vehicles operating safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair commercial tires on trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles
• Inspect tires for wear, damage, and safety, and perform proper repairs or replacements
• Conduct fleet tire checks and maintain accurate service records
• Provide timely, professional service to minimize customer downtime
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

Requirements

• Clean driver’s license required
• Experience in tire service, preferably commercial or heavy-duty tires preferred
• Ability to lift heavy tires and work in a physically demanding environment
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain one preferred
